GROUP INSURANCE SCHEME

One of the important welfare measures our management has taken for the benefit of all the students and employees (teachers, non-teaching staff, menial staff, and hostel employees) and the Parents of the wards are to bring all these members under group insurance. If any of these members get involved in an accident, their hospital expenses are met by the Insurance Company. If the accident proves to be fatal, the Insurance Company comes to the help of the deceased member's family by paying a sum of Rs.1 lakh to the student or staff member as the case may be.
This is a very great help to all the students, staff, and parents of the wards, especially in view of the fact that accidents have become very common now-a-days and that the bulk of these people belongs to middle class or poorer sections of the society.
The Insurance coverage has been made available from 2008-09.
