ACADEMICS

The Departments of the Institution are responsible for the academic activities which include Teaching, Research , Co curricular activities etc.,

The courses of study are organized on semester programs. The medium of instruction is English. At the end of each semester, Periyar University, Salem conducts Examinations. Evaluation is done by the board of examiners and the results will be announed before the next semester. Research Work is evaluated on the basis of the review thesis by peer examiners.

Seminars, Conferences and guest lectures are organized at periodic intervals and students get the opportunity to meet the heads of leading corporate houses and institutions. Face to face interactions with the leaders in the industry help the students to gain insight into the demands of the corporate world and lead them to acquire more knowledge.

Industrial Visits are arranged periodically. It helps the students gain new knowledge and accomplish any task with ease.

In the field of Arts & Science, special emphasis is given to emerging disciplines such as Biotechnology, Hotel Management, Fashion Technology and related fields.
